Speaker Call for Proposals - ACT-W

Thank you for your interest in speaking at ACT-W Bay Area. Please take a moment to complete this call for proposals to submit your talk for review. All responses are due on or before August 31, 2018.

The conference will be held on October 20th at General Assembly in San Francisco.

We will review all responses and contact you to discuss the topic if needed no less than 6 weeks prior to the event. If chosen, a formal confirmation will be sent to accepted speakers with more details regarding timing.

What would you like your talk to be called?

Abstract *

Please describe what you’ll be talking/teaching about, why it’s important, and what the audience will get from it. Please keep to 150 words.

What style of talk do you think your topic fits into? *

Lightning Talk: a 5 minute, rapid-fire style talk based on slides. This style is ideal for quick, impactful, story-based talks and can be an awesome way to share your ideas quickly!

Short Talk: a 10-20 minute, short story style talk based on slides. This style is ideal for TED-like story and can include visuals.

Keynote: a 45 minute talk that will inspire, amaze, and ignite the audience's passion for technology. The keynote should cover a topic that will apply to all audience attendees and must be engaging.
